Interior reflective & energy-efficient advanced rigid insulation.

The ideal insulation solution for above-slab floors, radiant floors and the interior surfaces of walls & ceilings.

  • Laminated on both sides with a reflective polypropylene laminate.
  • Independent testing shows Interra has a permeance of 1.7 ng/Pa-s-m2 and therefore, with taped joints, no additional vapor barrier is required (A vapor barrier must have a vapor permeance less than 60 ng/Pa-s-m2).
  • When facing a dead air space of ¾”+, the reflective laminate can add an effective R-value of up to 2.8. (According the Ashrae Standard 90.1)

Exterior breathable & mold-resistant advanced insulating sheathing.

Specifically designed for exterior above-grade walls.

  • Laminated on both sides with a clear polypropylene laminate that is perforated ½” o/c.
  • Independent testing has shown that, with ½” o/c perforations, Exterra (in thicknesses up to 1 5/8”) has a permeance greater than 60 ng/Pa-s-m2
  • Thus per building code, Exterra is “permeable” and allows moisture to leave the wall cavity.
  • Meanwhile, when the joints are taped, Exterra will act as an air barrier to keep air out and will act as a weather barrier to keep rain out.

Below-ground durable & water-resistant advanced rigid insulation.

Great for under-slab insulation, and to insulate and protect below-grade foundations.

  • Laminated on both sides with an incredibly tough woven polypropylene laminate.
  • Subterra with taped joints have been independently tested to be a water resistive barrier under prolonged UV exposure and weathering conditions, in accordance ICC-ES AC71, Foam Plastic Sheathing Panels used as Water-Resistive Barriers.

The use of air as an insulating gas allows Neopor to maintain its outstanding R-value performance over time and contributes to sustainable building practices. The air, graphite and polymer matrix in Neopor are all stable and no fluorocarbons are used to make, or are contained within, Neopor. Thus, Neopor’s R-value will not deteriorate.
